Career Network

Empowering New Yorkers to find and keep meaningful employment since 1995.

The Career Network’s primary goal has been to help individuals with mental health diagnoses find meaningful employment. At the heart of the Career Network is the belief that everyone who wants to work should have the opportunity to do so, regardless of the challenges or obstacles they face. This belief has guided the Career Network to provide an evolving suite of wide-ranging services to help clients gain and maintain employment.

The CUCS Career Network offers specialized services to make career goals possible.

Employment Specialists help with resume development, identifying job leads, completing job applications (both in-person and online), internet job search, interview preparation, obtaining interview clothing, and planning for the first day of employment. Some examples of job roles are: Office and clerical workers, ushers, greeters, phone survey workers, telemarketers, security guards, messengers, and mailroom and copy operators, porters, maintenance workers, utility workers, dishwashers, human and social service workers.
